His comedic performances brought him fame and he began a career as a filmmaker with high ambitions. He gained even more fame in the role of Batman who was the title character in Tim Burton's Batman. He grew as an actor over time and ventured into the production and direction worlds. The year 2014 saw his appearance as Birdman was rewarded with numerous nominations and awards.
